Eaton is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver high-quality field services across Australia and New Zealand, including commissioning, testing, maintenance, diagnostics and corrective works on Eaton Power Distribution systems. You will work on customer sites, coordinating with ASPs and Eaton teams to ensure safe, reliable delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a current Australian Electrical Licence (A Grade) or Electrical Contractor Licence, with hands-on experience in heavy industry or mining

Qualifications

• Australian electrical licence (A Grade) or Electrical Contractor Licence required.
• Hands-on electrical experience in heavy industry, mining, oil & gas or similar environments.
• Practical switchboard experience, including switchboard manufacturing or industrial electrical services.
• Strong safety mindset and problem-solving skills with a customer focus.

Responsabilités

• Service, test, troubleshoot and maintain power distribution equipment at customer sites.
• Support on-site testing and commissioning with test equipment.
• Coordinate and support ASP activities on site, including daily pre-starts.
• Diagnose site issues and carry out repairs and part replacements.
• Interpret electrical drawings and follow safe work practices to deliver quality work.
• Provide progress, schedule and safety updates to Service Coordinators and Project Managers.
• Collaborate with customers, Eaton teams, and service partners to resolve technical issues.
