Job summary

AMS Group (QLD Aboriginal Health Services) operates Aboriginal health clinics across Western Queensland. The Specialist in General Practice will provide comprehensive GP care at multiple sites within a reputable AMS network, delivering patient-focused services in remote communities.

The role requires registration as a GP in Australia, experience in rural settings, and ability to work across AMS facilities. Flights, accommodation, and fleet vehicles are provided, with minimum three-week bookings

Qualifications

• Qualified GP with Australian medical registration.
• Experience in rural/remote Australian GP work.
• Proven ability to work within an AMS clinic network.

Responsibilities

• Provide GP services at a Western QLD Aboriginal Health clinic.
• Collaborate with AMS group clinics and maintain clinical standards.
• Coordinate patient intake and efficient service delivery across sites.

A Western QLD Aboriginal Health GP practice requires a Specialist in General Practice25 May – 18 June (19 June is our Show PH)15 June – 3 July - $1800 per day3 August – 21 August - $1800 per day10 August – 4 September - $1800 per day28 September – 16 October x 2 - $1800 per day19 October – 6 November x 2 - $1800 per day9 November – 27 November x 2 (15 Nov – 15 Jan increases to $2100 per day)30 November – 18 December x 2 (15 Nov – 15 Jan increases to $2100 per day)21 December – 8 January (15 Nov – 15 Jan increases to $2100 per day)

The rate is $2100.00/day
