Job summary

The University of New South Wales invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering, Kensington (Sydney, NSW). This full-time, fixed-term role supports research into the stability of perovskite solar cells and tandem devices, under supervision of Scientia Prof. Martin Green and Dr Jessica Yajie Jiang. 12-month term with potential extension up to 3 years.

Salary: AU$118,467 p.a. plus 17% superannuation; 35 hours per week on campus.

Qualifications

• PhD in Photovoltaic Engineering or related field with relevant research in solar cell design and characterisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in perovskite solar cells across fabrication, characterisation and optimisation.
• Experience in establishing R&D facilities and testing infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to research on stability of perovskite single-junction and tandem solar cells.
• Work under supervision of senior investigators to develop defined projects.
• Publish results and present at conferences.
