Job summary

Purple Patch Consulting is seeking a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to work closely with participants in a values-driven environment. This role focuses on ethics-led practice and delivering high-quality support with minimal administrative burden, enabling meaningful, face-to-face engagement.

You will lead assessments, develop evidence-based plans, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure best outcomes for participants.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core, Proficient, or Advanced).
• Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioural Science, or related field.
• Strong understanding of the NDIS and Behaviour Support framework.
• Ability to build genuine relationships with participants and stakeholders.
• Values quality over shortcuts and is committed to growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans.
• Deliver person-centred, trauma-informed support to participants.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide training and guidance to support teams implementing behaviour strategies.
• Monitor and review behaviour support plans to ensure ongoing effectiveness; maintain documentation per NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission requirements.
• Uphold best practice and ethical standards in all aspects of your work.
