Job summary

ORS Group is expanding its Positive Behaviour Support team in Canberra. We are seeking a PBS practitioner with clinical experience across presentations to help improve clients’ quality of life.

Qualifications

  • Registered Positive Behaviour Support practitioner or strong foundation in Mental Health/Disability.
  • Tertiary qualification in allied health or education field as listed in the ad.
  • Driver’s license and own vehicle.
  • Ability to obtain required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check).

Responsibilities

  • Working with the client’s whole system of supports.
  • Playing an integral part in contributing to clients’ goals and quality of life.
  • Observing and assessing clients’ behaviours of concern.
  • Creating behaviour support plans and implementation plans.
  • Implementing your plan, as well as monitoring and reviewing.

About The Role

As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner you will be part of Australia's largest positive behaviour support team with over 300 practitioners providing positive behaviour support services to NDIS participants and private clients across the lifespan.

This Will Involve

What are we looking for?
  • Registered Positive Behaviour Support practitioners, will also consider candidates strong foundational skills in Mental Health, Behaviour and Disability
  • Tertiary Qualifications in an allied health, human science or education field such as psychology, behaviour analysis (BCBA), social work, teaching/early childhood care, social sciences, criminology, counselling, occupational therapy, speech therapy, or nursing
  • Driver’s license and own vehicle
  • Ability to obtain required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check)
