Job summary

Dhelkaya Health in regional Victoria invites applications for a Podiatry Cadetship (Foot Health Trainee). This part-time role combines paid employment as an Allied Health Assistant with the Undergraduate Certificate in Foot Health through CSU, delivering practical podiatry support across care settings.

You will be supervised by experienced podiatrists and progress toward a Grade 3 Podiatry Assistant role, while completing clinical placements within the organisation and studying full-time online

Dhelkaya Health is excited to offer a unique Podiatry Cadetship in partnership with Charles Sturt University (CSU) and its innovative Undergraduate Certificate in Foot Health program, Australia's first hybrid podiatry qualification.

This exciting opportunity allows you to combine paid employment, hands-on clinical experience, and formal university study while building a rewarding career in podiatry and allied health.

As a Podiatry Cadet, you will be employed by Dhelkaya Health as an Allied Health Assistant (AHA) while completing the 12-month Undergraduate Certificate in Foot Health through CSU. Working within our multidisciplinary Ambulatory Care team, you will gain practical experience supporting podiatry services across inpatient, outpatient, residential aged care, and Transition Care Program settings.

Under the supervision and delegation of experienced podiatrists, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, person-centred foot health care and develop the skills required for a successful career pathway within podiatry.

About you

As a Podiatry Cadet (AHA), you will:

• Work in a part-time Allied Health Assistant role while undertaking the Undergraduate Certificate in Foot Health.
• Gain practical experience within Dhelkaya Health's Podiatry Service.
