Want to grow your Podiatry experience in the public sector?
The Senior HP4 role is supported by an experienced team, including another HP4 Podiatrist, a HP5 Podiatrist, and a Wound Care Nurse. There has never been a better time to broaden your practice, develop new expertise, and utilise the full scope of your podiatry skills, with strong clinical support every step of the way. You will gain experience in orthotic and custom footwear prescription in partnership with our contractors, inpatient care, and multidisciplinary ward-based practice. You will also contribute to the education and training of private sector health practitioners across Toowoomba and provide specialist care to patients attending our High Risk Foot Clinic.
We recognise that a high-risk clinic setting may feel like a new or daunting step. If you're curious about the role or what a typical day looks like, we'd encourage you to get in touch. We're happy to answer any questions, talk through the caseload, and help you decide whether this opportunity is the right fit for you.
You're an experienced clinician who combines advanced expertise with genuine care for people and communities. You bring sound judgement, confidence in managing complexity and a collaborative approach that helps others succeed. You'll take pride in improving outcomes, supporting colleagues and contributing ideas that strengthen services. You're here to make a lasting impact through compassionate care, innovation and leadership. Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
You'll stand out if you have experience mentoring clinicians or students and/or additional training or professional development in complex or high-risk foot management. Most importantly, you'll bring Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage while helping create better health outcomes for the communities we serve.
At Darling Downs Health, we care for over 300,000 people across our expansive region. Whether you're a doctor, nurse, allied health professional, facilities team member, or administrator, you'll see your impact firsthand. Here, you'll find opportunities that simply don't exist elsewhere: the chance to lead initiatives, develop specialties, and embrace responsibilities that would take years to access in larger health services.
Darling Downs Health is where you can step up sooner, grow faster, and help shape the future of care across our region.
