Job summary

Good Podiatry is seeking an Outreach Podiatrist to deliver culturally safe care across the Top End of the Northern Territory. You’ll provide high-quality podiatry with a focus on high-risk foot management, wound care, prevention and education, while embracing life in remote communities.

Regular outreach trips include light aircraft travel and overnight stays. Candidates must be registered with AHPRA (or eligible) and willing to travel, bringing strong communication and culturally respectful

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Podiatry with AHPRA registration (or eligibility).
• Experience in high-risk foot management and wound care.
• Ability to travel to remote communities and engage with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatry care focused on high-risk foot management, wound care, prevention and education.
• Participate in outreach trips, including light aircraft travel and overnight stays.
• Build relationships with clients and health teams in remote communities to support capacity building.

We’re seeking an Outreach Podiatrist to join our team at Good Podiatry to deliver culturally safe care to communities across the Top End of the Northern Territory.

About the Role:

This is more than a podiatry job; it’s an opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team while experiencing life in some of the most remarkable and culturally rich communities in Australia.

You’ll provide high-quality podiatry care with a strong focus on high-risk foot management, wound care, prevention, and education. Regular outreach trips (including light aircraft travel and overnight stays) are part of the role, giving you the chance to connect directly with clients and health workers in remote communities.

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Tertiary qualified in Podiatry with AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
• Experienced in high-risk foot management and wound care
• A confident communicator who can build strong relationships across communities and health teams
• Flexible and resilient, with a strong sense of cultural awareness and respect
• Willing to travel to remote communities (up to 4 days at a time, including light aircraft travel)

You’ll also need (or be able to obtain):

• NT Manual Driver’s Licence
• OCHRE Card (Working with Children Clearance)
• National Police Check
• Professional Indemnity Insurance
