Job summary

Darwin Podiatry is seeking a motivated podiatrist to join our supportive private practice in Darwin. We offer a flexible work arrangement with a 4-day week, weekly mentoring, in-house training, and a clear pathway to endorsement. New graduates are welcome to apply with mentoring provided.

You will assess and manage a broad range of podiatric conditions, provide diabetic foot care, wound care, biomechanics and orthotics, with full admin support and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level Podiatry qualification.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ethical, evidence-based, patient-centred care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• New graduates welcome with mentoring and clinical support.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of podiatric conditions.
• Develop individualised treatment and management plans.
• Provide general podiatry, diabetic foot care, wound care, musculoskeletal and biomechanical services.
• Provide patient education, footwear and orthotic advice.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and complete referrals and reports.
• Communicate effectively with patients, GPs and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in CPD, mentoring and practice improvement.
• Contribute positively to the team and workplace culture.
