Seven Consulting is seeking an experienced PMO Consultant to work directly with clients and deliver high-quality PMO services on contract engagements in Melbourne. You will support establishing and operating PMOs across projects, programs, or portfolios, driving improvements, and shaping governance frameworks.

The role requires a track record of supporting complex IT program delivery, strong risk management, reporting, and facilitation skills, as well as leadership to guide PMO teams and

Qualifications

• Proven ability to support successful PMOs and interact with senior executives to ensure robust project planning, progress reporting and governance.
• Experience delivering governance on mission-critical IT programs and projects.
• Minimum 5 years experience as an analyst working in a PMO for multiple large IT programs.
• Detailed understanding of program management methodologies and practices.
• Proven ability to drive processes in risk management, reporting, facilitation of review meetings, cost estimates and scheduling, vendor and resource management, project planning and progress, and governance.

Responsabilités

• Support the PMO Manager in establishing and operating the PMO for a project, program, or portfolio.
• Drive improvements and uplift PMO capabilities.
• Develop and implement robust processes to support governance and controls.
• Refine PMO practices in line with changing requirements and best-practices/frameworks.
• Liaise with stakeholders at all levels of the client’s organisation.
• Motivate and guide other PMO team members.
