Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a PMIS Reporting Lead based in Australia with the ability to mobilise to Saudi Arabia on an 8 week on/off roster. The role focuses on coordinating Maaden PMIS reporting updates and integrating them with Bechtel tools and systems, under the Project Controls Manager.

This position is designated as part-time telework and may require at least three days in-person attendance per week at the office or project. Bechtel emphasizes diverse, inclusive teams and robust Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) required with 8–12 years of relevant experience; or 12–16 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Bechtel cost, progress, schedule and procurement/tools systems with Maaden PMIS.
• Maintain mapping between Bechtel CoA, Facilities, Activity Codes and Workpacks with PMIS.
• Lead monthly Maaden PMIS updates with Bechtel Engineering, Procurement and Construction Progress.
• Lead monthly Maaden PMIS cost system updates including invoices and contract variations.

Project Overview

The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village. The Project is situated within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km north-east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh, which is a small town situated on the Jeddah – Riyadh highway.

A desert track connects Al Mouwayh to the Project site. Bechtel has been awarded the Ar Rjum gold project feasibility study update and related works by Maaden, Saudi Arabia’s state-owned mining company.

This role will be based in Australia to begin with and must be willing to mobilise to the work site in Saudi Arabia on an 8 week on / 2 week off roster.

Job Summary

As the PMIS Reporting Lead you will be responsible for the overall coordination of the Maaden PMIS reporting system updates, and the integration of the PMIS reporting with Bechtel’s tools & systems. Working under the direction of the Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all reporting requirements are met for both Maaden and Bechtel.

"This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership".

Major Responsibilities

• Integrate Bechtel cost, progress, schedule and procurement/contracts tools & systems with Maaden PMIS system.
• Maintain mapping between Bechtel standard CoA, Facilities, Activity Codes and Workpacks with PMIS system.
• Lead monthly update of the Maaden PMIS reporting system with Bechtel Engineering, Procurement and Construction Progress.
• Lead monthly updates of Maaden PMIS cost system, incorporating actual invoices and contract variations to maintain cost and commitment information at cost account level, load approved trends to adjust budgets and forecasts.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 8-12 years of relevant experience; alternatively, 12-16 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge And Skills

• Proficiency in using PC operating systems and multi discipline specific software applications (EcoSys, PowerBI, Microsoft applications).
• Skilled in oral and written communication, with demonstrated ability to present Project Controls information to management/client.
• Demonstrated skill in identifying, analysing, and solving problems.
