Job summary

Woodhouse Timber Company in Marsden Park, Sydney, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor for the PM shift (2pm–10:30pm). This hands-on leadership role coordinates all warehouse activities, ensuring safety, accuracy and timely despatch of goods.

You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager, utilise the Warehouse Management System, and mentor staff to meet KPI targets while maintaining a clean, compliant operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience within a leadership role in a warehouse environment (Timber Industry preferred).
• Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
• Forklift licence & confident in forklift operation.
• Sound WH&S knowledge and implementation experience.
• Proven ability to lead and manage diverse teams.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous warehouse and pick and packing experience.
• Certificate III Warehousing Operations (not essential, but highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise warehouse staff and activities.
• Utilise Warehouse Management System to optimise performance.
• Ensure safe, efficient storage and shipping of products.
• Plan and direct warehouse activities to meet targets and budgets.
• Provide direction and training to personnel on tasks and goals.
• Prepare shift reports, risk assessments and incidents.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.
