Job summary

Isaac Regional Council is seeking a fixed-term, full-time Plumbing Inspector based in the Isaac Region. The role reports to the Manager Community Education and Compliance to ensure health and safety through quality assessment of plumbing designs and installations, improving compliance with the Plumbing and Drainage Act 2018.

The position offers a base salary of $101,951–$108,804 per annum, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading, up to 14.5% super, and various employee

Job description

An exciting opportunity exists for a fixed term full-time Plumbing Inspector based in the Isaac Region. Reporting to the Manager Community Education and Compliance this position provides operational support to ensure the health and safety of Isaac Regional Council’s residents through quality assessment of complex plumbing designs and installations and improve compliance with the Plumbing and Drainage Act 2018 through the timely resolution of plumbing and drainage issues.

For this position we offer:

• Base salary between $101,951.00 - $108,804.00 per annum (Stream A Level 5 - 6);
• Full-time permanent role;
• Based in the Isaac Region;
• Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight;
• 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading;
• Up to 14.5% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement;
