Job summary

Flynnstone Plumbing & Excavation – Palmview QLD is seeking a qualified Plumber to join our growing team. The successful candidate will perform residential plumbing installations, drainage, water run-ins and stack work while reading plans and maintaining high safety and workmanship standards.

We value attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Immediate start available with overtime opportunities and a company ute provided.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Plumber (essential).
• Experience in residential new-home plumbing and drainage preferred.
• Strong commitment to WHS and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing installations for new residential homes.
• Complete underslab drainage, sewer and stormwater installations.
• Install water run-ins and plumbing stack installations.
• Install downpipes, hot water systems and rain water tanks.
• Read plans and measure, cut, join and test pipes.
• Ensure safety and compliance with plumbing codes.

About the role

We currently have a vacancy for an qualified Plumber to join our growing team.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Carrying out plumbing installations for new residential homes.

• Completing underslab drainage, sewer and stormwater installations.

• Completing water run-ins and plumbing stack installations.

• Installing downpipes, hot water systems and connecting rain water tanks.

• Completing plumbing fit-offs.

• Reading plans and measuring, cutting, joining and testing pipes.

• Using tools and equipment safely, and following plumbing codes and workplace safety requirements.

• Checking completed work for leaks and correct operation.

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as a Plumber (essential)

• Previous experience in residential new-home plumbing and drainage.

• Sound understanding of Residential plumbing processes and procedures

• Current driver's licence and reliable transport

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
