Job summary

Wurtulla Plumbing & Drainage in Caloundra, Queensland is seeking a qualified Plumber to join a well-established team on a full-time permanent basis. Salary range is AUD 76,000 to AUD 85,000 per year.

The role involves installing, repairing and maintaining residential and commercial plumbing systems in line with Australian standards. The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate III in Plumbing, a current Queensland Plumbing Licence, and at least two years post-qualification experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Plumbing or equivalent.
• Current Queensland Plumbing Licence or ability to obtain one.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience as a Plumber.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Wurtulla Plumbing & Drainage is a well-established plumbing business servicing residential
and commercial clients across the Sunshine Coast. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our growing team.

Tasks

• Design, Installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, sewerage
  and stormwater systems
• Interpreting plumbing plans, specifications and building codes
• Installing and repairing hot & cold-water systems, pipes, fixtures, valves, fittings and appliances
• Install sewerage, disposal, pressure regulating and pump systems
• Install drainage systems below ground and gas appliances
• Testing plumbing systems to ensure safety, functionality and compliance
• Locating faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment and rectifying issues
• Performing routine maintenance and emergency plumbing repairs
• Ensuring work is completed to Australian Standards and local council regulations
