Job summary

NEP Group Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer - NEP Platform to secure and optimize our hybrid infrastructure for next‑gen media and broadcast services. You will implement SIEM, microsegmentation, and access controls while integrating security into platform workflows and automation across Kubernetes environments.

The role collaborates with the IT Security team and TSС SME group, driving secure, scalable platform strategies and ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC2.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SIEM solutions for platform security.
• Develop and enforce microsegmentation policies in Kubernetes.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and IaC workflows.
• Automate vulnerability and compliance scanning for infrastructure.
• Implement Kubernetes security measures: RBAC, OPA/Kyverno, network policies.
• Manage secret management within platform automation workflows.
• Improve platform observability: logging, tracing, metrics, alerts.
• Collaborate with IT Security and TSC SME to align with global security policies.
• Lead remediation after security audits and pen tests.
• Represent the Platform team in security meetings and audits.
