Job summary

NEP Australia is seeking a Security Engineer – NEP Platform to secure and optimise our hybrid cloud infrastructure and live production services. You will implement SIEM, microsegmentation, and access controls, while collaborating with the IT Security team to align platform security with enterprise policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in platform security, DevSecOps, or SRE with containerized/Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on SIEM design and incident response experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SIEM solutions to monitor threats across platform infrastructure.
• Develop and enforce Kubernetes microsegmentation and RBAC policies.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and IaC workflows with Terraform.
• Automate vulnerability and compliance scanning for infrastructure.
• Lead remediation after security audits and penetration tests.
• Collaborate with global IT Security to align with security policies.
