CGL – Retail Services is seeking a Platform & AI Engineer in Sydney to modernise applications, data platforms, and AI capabilities. You will design, build, and deliver scalable, secure cloud-native solutions that enable transformation and measurable business value.

You will work with stakeholders to transform legacy systems into API-first platforms, applying AI and automation to improve client experiences and operational performance. Strong technical delivery is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science.
• Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions.
• Azure experience and working toward certification.
• Demonstrated experience implementing AI, automation, or intelligent workflow solutions within an enterprise environment.

As the Platform & AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Creative Activation's technology landscape through the modernisation of applications, data platforms, integrations, and Artificial Intelligence capabilities. This is an individual contributor role requiring deep technical expertise and a hands‑on approach to designing, engineering, and delivering scalable, secure, cloud‑native, and AI‑enabled solutions that drive innovation, operational efficiency, and business growth.

Working closely with business stakeholders, technology partners, and the engineering team, you will transform legacy systems into modern, resilient, API‑first platforms that are designed for scalability, agility, and future innovation. You will leverage your expertise in software engineering, cloud architecture, platform modernisation, data engineering, and AI to solve complex business challenges and deliver measurable commercial value.
