Sevron in Melbourne is seeking Tree Planting and Maintenance Crew Members to join our North West team. You will work across council areas to plant and maintain juvenile trees, using manual tools and some mechanical equipment.

The role involves driving between sites, loading and unloading materials, planting, watering, pruning, mulching, and collaborating with specialist equipment. Full Australian working rights and a valid licence are required.

Responsabilidades

• Drive work vehicles between sites to meet planting targets.
• Load/unload trees, mulch and materials as required.
• Plant and replant vegetation with manual/shovel methods.
• Water plants using handheld hoses and water tanks.
• Perform formative pruning with handheld tools.
• Mulch using wheelbarrows, buckets and forks.
• Operate specialist equipment such as excavators and stump grinders.
• Install tree stakes and ties; remove waste from sites.

What we are looking for :

We are seeking Tree Planting and Maintenance Crew Members to join our North West Melbourne Team. This role requires the flexibility to work across multiple council areas completing tasks such as :

• Driving work vehicles between sites to complete daily planting targets
• Loading and unloading of selected trees, mulch and other materials as required
• Planting and replanting of vegetationusing both mechanical aids and shovels
• Wateringwith handheld hose, using water tanks on the back of trucks
• Formative Pruningusing small handheld tools
• Mulching with the use of wheelbarrows and buckets and with a mulch fork
• Work in conjunction with specialist equipment such as excavators, Kanga machines, stump grinders and industry leading planting asset equipment
• Collection of spoils using buckets and loading on trucks to removewaste
• Installation of tree stakes and tree ties using mechanical aids

Motivated to undertake 38 hours per week

Looking for above Award rates of pay and weekly overtime

Have a passion for the outdoors and the environment
