Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a Plant Supervisor for the Collingwood Concrete Plant. You will lead a diverse workforce, manage batching and loading for deliveries, and collaborate with the Supply Chain Team to drive performance.

The ideal candidate will be safety‑driven, results oriented, and capable of multi‑tasking with strong communication to stakeholders. Training, PPE, and a supportive team environment are provided across an Australian‑wide business.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams and supervise workforce to achieve production goals.
• Manage batching and loading of Heidelberg Materials fleet for delivery to customers, maintaining quality.
• Make decisions that impact overall performance in collaboration with the Supply Chain Team.
• Actively influence safety behaviours through feedback and safety conversations.
• Ensure cycle times through plants are as efficient as possible.
• Oversee safe maintenance activities in line with company requirements.
• Participate in site and operational meetings.

Are you a self-motivated team player? We are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and professional Plant Supervisor to join our team at the Collingwood Concrete Plant. The successful candidate will be someone who is passionate about safety, results focused, possesses a strong work ethic, the ability to multi-task and demonstrates strong communication skills.

Candidates from all industries (i.e. hospitality, logistics, agriculture, supply chain, commerce, fast food, manufacturing, mining, health) are encouraged to apply – we are looking for great people with a positive can-do attitude, and we’ll teach the rest! Batching or concrete experience is great, but not a pre-requisite.
