Job summary

Fulton Hogan's Mile End Department is seeking a Plant Operator to join our team. The appointee will be self-motivated with a keen interest in Fixed Plant Production and will collaborate with the Asphalt Production team to promote and grow our business.

Previous asphalt production experience is highly valued but not essential. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of industry standards, the ability to meet tight deadlines safely, and experience operating fixed plant and a forklift with a High

• Experience in fixed Plant operations and maintenance.
• Knowledge of industry related standards and specifications.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines in a safe, high-quality manner.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Plant inspection check lists.
• Maintaining a neat and tidy site and work area.
• Initiating and communicating ideas that improve efficiency, reduce waste and costs.
• Actively participate in preventative maintenance, toolbox discussions and safety meetings.
