Job summary

Harvest Road Group is seeking a Plant Operator or Quality Control Operator for the Rendering Plant in Harvey, WA. You will monitor and maintain plant machinery, support safe operations and contribute to continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Plant Operator – Rendering Plant

Harvey Beef are seeking a Plant Operator or Quality Control Operator to join their Rendering Plant in Harvey, WA. The Plant Operator will become a key member of the Rendering team working towards the delivery of smooth operations across the plant.

About the role:

• Monitor and maintain Rendering Plant machinery and operations under the supervision of management
• Be a key member of the project team working to deliver smooth functioning systems across the plant.
• Maintain and improve plant environment whilst consistently adhering to company and legislative health and safety policies, practices and procedures.
• Complete such tasks and projects in a competent and timely manner in accordance with directions from management
• Efficient and effective operation of the rendering department and all ancillary operations of the department.
• Ensure plant regulatory requirements are met in relation to food safety, quality management, environment and any other relevant requirements.
• Keep good general awareness of site operations.

About you:

• Must be highly motivated and organised
• Prior Plant Operation experience is highly regarded
• Experience writing reports and updates for management
• Knowledge of Health and Safety processes

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Is professional, reliable and patient-focused
• Can work independently while contributing positively to a team

• Commitment to ongoing professional development
