Job summary

EIRE Constructions on the Central Coast is seeking a Civil Operator to run excavators and other plant on major water, sewer, and infrastructure projects. Immediate start available, with opportunities to work in Lismore or Denman under DIDO arrangements.

Daily duties include pre-starts, maintenance checks, trenching, and collaborating with pipe crews while adhering to safety procedures and site rules. Must have relevant tickets and 2–3 years of civil experience around underground services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in civil or pipeline construction.
• Relevant plant operating tickets/licenses.
• White Card (mandatory).
• Experience around underground services.
• Confined space and working at heights tickets.
• Loader, skid steer, or roller tickets.
• Ability to work overtime and travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and other civil plant machinery.
• Trenching and backfilling for pipeline installation.
• Working around live services and underground utilities.
• Assisting pipe crews with installation works.
• Conducting daily pre-starts and machine maintenance checks.
• Following site safety procedures and project requirements.
• Working effectively within a team environment.

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Civil Operator to join our growing Southern region team. This role involves working on major civil and pipeline projects across water, sewer, gas, or infrastructure works.
