Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Melbourne seeks a technically strong Analyst to join the Public Sector Valuations (PSV) team with an interest in plant and equipment valuations. You will design and maintain complex financial models and perform rigorous market analysis to deliver high-quality valuation advice for diverse public sector assets.

The role requires 1–5 years of valuation experience, knowledge of API/IVS or USPAP, and excellent communication skills.

Formación

• 1–5 years of property/plant & equipment valuation experience.
• Knowledge of API/IVS and/or USPAP standards.
• Interest in plant & equipment and financial reporting valuations.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication of complex financial concepts to clients.
• Senior Analyst consideration with more experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain complex financial models to support valuation conclusions for diverse asset classes.
• Conduct detailed sensitivity and scenario analysis to assess risk and inform client decision-making.
• Demonstrate high-level proficiency in Excel, using advanced functions, macros, and data visualisation techniques to streamline analysis and enhance report accuracy.
• Review and validate financial inputs and assumptions provided by clients or third parties, ensuring logical consistency and market realism.
• Critically analyse market evidence to support valuation arguments, ensuring conclusions are defensible and data-driven.
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of complex valuations for financial reporting.
• Draft clear, concise, and professional valuation reports that effectively communicate technical findings to stakeholders.
