Job summary

Alex Fraser, Australia’s leading sustainable construction materials supplier, is seeking an allrounder to join the Laverton Asphalt Plant team. No experience needed—we will train you to run and maintain an Amann Asphalt Plant and to gain tickets for other machinery.

You’ll receive a starting rate of $30.61–$38.51 per hour (plus a daily allowance) with day, night and weekend shifts and overtime opportunities, plus uniform and equipment supplied and strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Problem solving and proactive approach to tasks.
• Forklift and/or wheel loader tickets are preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn new computer systems and software.
• Experience working with SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements).
• Previous experience running or maintaining a large fixed plant is valuable; training available.

Responsibilities

• Learn to run and maintain an Amann Asphalt Plant at Laverton.
• Gain tickets for other machinery through on‑the‑job training.
• Work with the team to uphold safety and quality standards.
• Adapt to day, night and weekend shift patterns as required.

We are looking for an allrounder to join our Asphalt Plant team. No experience necessary – we can train you!

Based out of our Laverton Asphalt Plant , you’ll learn how to run and maintain an Amann Asphalt Plant. You’ll also have opportunities to be trained in other machinery and get the tickets and permits that come with them.
