Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a Planning Support Officer to interpret data, develop planning guidance and support scheduling and reporting for the National Fire Ant Eradication Program. You will create GIS maps, dashboards and spatial analyses to guide treatment and surveillance activities across Queensland.

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex data for planning decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to support stakeholders and management.
• Experience preparing operational reports and dashboards.
• Knowledge of GIS and spatial mapping tools is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse information to support planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting.
• Contribute to eradication plans, GIS mappings, dashboards and spatial portals guiding activities.
• Monitor progress, support resource allocation, and improve procedures and systems.
