Job summary

City of Rockingham is seeking a part-time Planning Assistant to support the Planning and Development Services team. You will primarily assist the public with general town planning enquiries and provide administrative support across planning teams.

The role reports to the Coordinator Statutory Planning and operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The position is temporary (up to 12 months parental leave cover), 17.5 hours per week, with training on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, then

Job description

About the role

As a key member of the Planning and Development Services team, you will primarily assist the public with general town planning enquiries and provide administrative support across the various planning teams. Reporting to the Coordinator Statutory Planning, this role provides administrative support for a range of application types and development approval stages managed by technical officers. You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, and change-driven environment.

We are offering a gross salary of $86,797 per annum pro rated.
