Job summary

ACCIONA is a global leader in regenerative infrastructure, delivering major projects with a diverse, multinational team. This Planner role focuses on developing and maintaining integrated schedules, using Primavera P6 to manage complex construction programs across multiple stakeholders.

You will report to the Planning Manager and work with engineers, project managers and subcontractors to keep programs realistic, track progress, and flag risks throughout design and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in engineering or construction management.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Experience planning on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of project controls and scheduling principles.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills.

Project Info

ACCIONA has partnered with Sydney Water and SMEC to form the Malabar System Alliance, delivering a ten-year program to expand and modernise wastewater treatment across Sydney's south and west. The first scheme upgrades the Liverpool and Glenfield Water Resource Recovery Facilities, lifting system resilience and energy efficiency. The design is expected to improve energy efficiency by up to 60 per cent. It's a rare chance to shape critical infrastructure for two million people.

About the Opportunity

As Planner, you will develop and maintain integrated project schedules that keep the Malabar System Alliance on track. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will work closely with engineers, project managers and subcontractors to track progress, flag risks and keep programs realistic and achievable. You will use Primavera P6 to build schedules from first principles, monitor the critical path and report on progress across the design and construction phases. This role offers exposure to a complex, multi-stakeholder alliance environment and a genuine say in how the project comes together.
