Job summary

PLAN MANAGER ADMINISTRATION OFFICER - INTERCHANGE OUTER EAST

About the Role

The Plan Management Administration Officer provides administrative and financial support to NDIS participants and their families. The role ensures timely payments, accurate record keeping, and excellent communication with participants, providers, and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Building positive relationships with participants and their nominees
  • Responding to participant and provider enquiries
  • Supporting participants to establish and work within their budgets
  • Regularly reviewing plan balances and raising any concerns
  • Preparing service agreements and generating monthly statements
  • Liaising with providers to resolve billing issues
  • Ensuring accurate and timely data flow between IOE and the NDIS portal
  • Maintaining accurate records for acquittal and audit processes
  • Engaging in ongoing learning around disability services, products, and suppliers
Skills & Experience
  • High level communication skills, both written and verbal, including strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Excel and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and web-based platforms
  • An understanding of accounting and audit processes
  • Ability to work independently and in an active team environment
  • Sound knowledge and experience of administrative practices, procedures and processes
  • Ability to handle a number of tasks concurrently with minimum supervisionAbility to produce work with a high degree of accuracy
It is favourable to have the following:
  • Qualification in Certificate IV Financial Services (Bookkeeping)
  • Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Diploma of Accounting
  • Membership with: Association of Taxation and Management Accountants (ATMA)
  • Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT)
  • Association of Certified Bookkeepers (CBK)
  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
  • Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB)
  • Institute of Public Accountants (IPA)
  • Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CAANZ)
  • Knowledge of the NDIS and the disability sector
  • Experience working in a community-based organisation
