Qualifications

• Experience as Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary in Personal Injury or litigation.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multi-task.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, independent worker with team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day support to lawyers and senior practitioners across Plaintiff Personal Injury matters.
• Assisting with progression and administration of files from initial instruction through to resolution.
• Preparing and managing legal correspondence and documentation.
• Maintaining electronic files and ensuring matter information is accurate and up to date.
• Coordinating appointments, medical assessments, conferences, hearings and key dates.
• Liaising with clients, medical providers, counsel, experts, insurers and other stakeholders.
• Assisting with court and tribunal documentation and general litigation administration.
• Requesting and managing medical and other supporting documentation.
• Monitoring deadlines, follow-ups and outstanding actions across matters.
• Providing general administrative and organisational support to the legal team.
• Assisting with billing, time recording and other matter administration where required.
