Job summary

Planned Resources are seeking a Practice Lead on the Sunshine Coast to run the Place & Development team. You’ll own the people, clients, pipeline and commercial outcomes for a 5–6 person team, with leadership responsibilities across the business.

Ideal candidates will have backgrounds in Town Planning, Urban Design or Landscape Architecture, plus strong client leadership and BD skills.SEQ relationships would be a bonus, and the role focuses on broader leadership beyond project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of 5–6 staff and managing client relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen including budgets, utilisation and forecasting.
• Background in Town Planning, Urban Design or Landscape Architecture.
• SEQ relationships a bonus, not essential.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a team of 5-6 staff
• Owing key client relationships and identifying new opportunities
• Driving the pipeline - tenders, proposals and fee submissions
• Overseeing delivery on major projects, including quality and commercial outcomes
• Keeping an eye on revenue, utilisation, profitability and forecasting
• Mentoring emerging and senior team members
• Representing the business with clients and industry contacts
