Job summary

Matrix Unlimited is seeking a Civil Worker/Pipelayer/Formwork/Concreter across Queensland to install pit and pipe systems, trench, excavate and backfill, and read civil construction plans. You will read plans and work with hand tools, power tools and small plant, ensuring all works meet safety and specification requirements.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Civil Construction required.
• Construction White Card required.
• RIW and QR SARC/WET required.
• Driver's Licence
• Ability to work safely and follow direction.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and construct pit and pipe systems.
• Trenching, excavation and backfilling.
• Reading and interpreting civil construction plans.
• Use of hand tools, power tools and small plant.
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and to specification.
• Working effectively within a team environment.
• Following SWMS, safety instructions and site requirements.
