Job summary

Webuild, in Australia, invites expressions of interest for Pipe Fitters to join Project Ceres in Karratha on a 20:8 roster. Long-term opportunities on a landmark WA infrastructure project.

Fabrication and installation of pipework, carbon steel with Inconel cladding, and related tasks require high safety standards, a White/Blue Card, and the ability to pass medicals. FIFO/mining/project experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Construction White/Blue Card.
• Experience with carbon steel pipe with Inconel cladding.
• Experience with compressor hook-up piping.
• Experience installing risers and flowlines.
• Working at height, EWP, confined space, gas test atmospheres.
• Excellent communication skills and team work.
• FIFO/mining/construction experience is advantageous.
• Current driver's license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and installation of pipework of various sizes and exotic materials.
• Cut, bevel and fit up pipes per isometric drawings.
• Assemble pipe spools including valves and instruments.
• Coordinate with riggers and other disciplines to position and erect pipes.
