Job summary

Guardian Protection Services – Windsor NSW is seeking a shop-based pipe fabricator. The role focuses on preparing and fabricating steel pipework for construction projects, including reading cutting lists, measuring and marking, cutting to length, threading, roll grooving, preparing fittings and verifying quality for dispatch.

You will work closely with the fabrication team to ensure accuracy, productivity and safety, with training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Capable of lifting 20kg.
• Flexible early start.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Experience in fire services pipe fabrication, sprinkler pipework or steel fabrication is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark pipe lengths for fabrication.
• Measure and mark hole, outlet and branch locations.
• Cut steel pipe to required lengths and dimensions.
• Cut/screw threaded pipe and fittings as required.
• Roll groove pipe ends.
