Job summary

Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service in Maryborough invites you to join the Physiotherapy Department as a Senior Physiotherapist (Subacute). You will deliver high-level physiotherapy in subacute wards and guide a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation, independence and quality of life.

• Senior physiotherapist with subacute experience.
• Leadership in geriatric physiotherapy and supervision of staff.
• Ability to plan operations and support service development.

Work collaboratively with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Your opportunity:

• To deliver high level physiotherapy clinical services to the subacute wards Maryborough Hospital, and act as a resource in their area of expertise within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS) Fraser Coast.
• To deliver professional leadership in geriatric physiotherapy including clinical practice supervision of less experienced physiotherapists and clinical support staff at Hervey Bay & Maryborough Hospitals.
• Manage day to day operational aspects and planning of physiotherapy staff in subacute wards ensuring quality outcomes in collaboration with the Director of Physiotherapy.
• To provide leadership and contribute to service development, education and research in the department.

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $162,378 p.a., comprising salary between $132,690 - $142,317 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.)
