Job summary

Mediix in Ridgehaven, north-east Adelaide, is seeking a Physiotherapist with solid MSK experience for a full-time role across two clinic sites, with a plan to move to one site.

You will join a small team of three physiotherapists, work with on-site GPs, and have opportunities to explore clinical Pilates, strength and conditioning, and dry needling.

AHPRA registration and 2+ years in private practice are required; full working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat a predominantly private musculoskeletal caseload.
• Treat back, neck, joint, muscle and sports injuries.
• Manage RTWSA, NDIS, DVA, My Aged Care and Medicare clients where applicable.
• Use manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation as part of treatment.
• Collaborate with on-site GPs to support patient care.
• Explore areas like clinical Pilates, strength and conditioning, balance and falls prevention, and dry needling.

About the clinic

The clinic is a boutique, well-established private physiotherapy practice in Adelaide's north-east, about 25 minutes from the CBD. They take a hands-on, manual therapy approach and works closely with an on-site GP practice. The clinic aims to give clients the advice and exercises they need to keep improving between appointments.

About the role

This is a full-time position for a physiotherapist with solid MSK experience who is looking for stability and a long-term home. You'll join a team of three other physiotherapists. You'll initially work across two clinic sites, with the role moving to one site full-time over time.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat a predominantly private musculoskeletal caseload
• Treat a range of presentations, including back and neck pain, joint pain, muscle and ligament injuries, and sports and cycling related injuries
• Manage some RTWSA, NDIS, DVA, My Aged Care and Medicare clients
• Use manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation as part of treatment
• Work alongside the on-site GPs to support patient care
• Explore other areas depending on your interests, such as clinical Pilates, strength and conditioning, balance and falls prevention, and dry needling

Requirements

• AHPRA general registration as a Physiotherapist
• 2+ years of musculoskeletal experience in private practice (new graduates are not being considered for this role)
• Strong hands-on and manual therapy skills
• Good communication skills and a genuine interest in patient outcomes
• Seeking a full-time role with a long-term view
