Job summary

Cerebral Palsy Alliance in Australia is seeking a Physiotherapist to deliver therapy for children and adults with cerebral palsy and related conditions, from early intervention to adulthood. You may work in one-on-one or group sessions, guided by evidence-based practice and tailored to each client’s goals.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Physiotherapy.
• Evidence of current AHPRA registration.
• A current driver's license and your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on exercises, therapy and equipment.
• Support clients to learn new motor skills and improve or maintain abilities.
• Provide guidance on relearning posture and movement skills, and help with seating and mobility.
• Help clients access mobility aids and equipment suitable for them.
• Exercises to build strength and/or help manage pain.
• Support clients to participate in sports, recreation and leisure activities.
