Mediix on the Northern Beaches is seeking a Physiotherapist with hands-on manual therapy skills and a keen MSK/sports focus for a part-time or casual role in Brookvale. You will assess, treat and manage a range of musculoskeletal conditions, use manual therapy and prescribed exercises, and gradually build your patient base with internal referrals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Solid manual therapy skills and an interest in MSK and sports presentations.
• Comfortable managing your own diary and building a caseload.
• Dry needling or additional training is helpful but not essential.
• New graduates through to experienced clinicians are welcome to apply.

About The Practice

• Physiotherapy practice located within a medical centre
• Treatment is mainly hands-on, using manual therapy and exercise prescription
• Extended trading hours during the week, plus Saturday mornings
• Caseload includes sports injuries, acute and chronic pain, headaches and jaw issues, fractures, and workers compensation and occupational health

About The Role

• Casual or part time hours to start, with the option to increase as your caseload grows
• Assess, treat and manage a range of musculoskeletal conditions
• Use manual therapy and exercise prescription to support recovery and reduce the chance of recurrence
• Build your patient base over time, with referrals from the practice
• Keep clear notes and communicate with patients, referrers and insurers

What We Are Looking For

• Degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
• Solid manual therapy skills and an interest in MSK and sports presentations
• Comfortable managing your own diary and building a caseload
• Dry needling or additional training is helpful but not essential
• New graduates through to experienced clinicians are welcome to apply
