Physiotherapist – Exercise & Rehab Focus
$90,000–$110,000+ Total Package | 1-on-1 Patients | On-Site Rehab Gym | CPD Support
Peakhurst Health & Performance is looking for a motivated Physiotherapist to join our growing team.
We are open to new graduates through to experienced Physiotherapists, with remuneration tailored to your experience, skills and what you can bring to the clinic.
Remember why you became a Physiotherapist in the first place?
To help people move better. To guide someone through their rehabilitation. To see them regain their strength, confidence and independence. To actually make a difference in your patients' lives.
That's what we want our Physiotherapists to be able to do.
At PHP, you'll work one-on-one with your patients, with access to our on-site rehabilitation gym, allowing you to take someone from their initial assessment and treatment right through to exercise rehabilitation and return to function.
No double booking. No conveyor-belt treatment.
You’ll have the opportunity to properly assess, treat, exercise and rehabilitate your patients — and see the progress you’ve helped them achieve.
You’ll work across a genuinely varied caseload including:
Private MSK and sporting injuries
Post-operative rehabilitation
Exercise rehabilitation and return to sport/function
WorkCover and CTP
NDIS
Aged care
Home and community physiotherapy
Strength, balance and exercise programs
The role combines hands-on physiotherapy with active rehabilitation and exercise, making full use of our rehabilitation gym.
$90,000–$110,000+ total remuneration package, depending on experience and suitability
Generous CPD support and allowance
Paid/reimbursed work-related travel for community and home visits
One-on-one patient appointments
No double booking
Full access to our on-site rehabilitation gym
Ongoing clinical mentoring and support
A diverse caseload rather than treating the same presentation all day
Opportunities to develop your skills in exercise rehabilitation, sports and strength & conditioning
Student mentoring opportunities within a teaching clinic
Opportunities to be involved in our growing community and exercise programs
Support for new graduates transitioning into private practice
A genuine opportunity to grow with an established and expanding clinic
We’re looking for someone who is:
AHPRA registered as a Physiotherapist, or a final-year Australian physiotherapy student eligible for registration shortly
Genuinely passionate about rehabilitation and helping people improve
Interested in MSK, sports, exercise and rehabilitation
Comfortable using exercise as an important part of physiotherapy
Personable and able to build genuine relationships with patients
Reliable, humble and willing to learn
Interested in ongoing professional development
Happy working both within the clinic and occasionally in the community
A current driver’s licence holder with access to a vehicle
Looking for somewhere they can become a long‑term part of the team
Peakhurst Health & Performance is an established multidisciplinary clinic servicing the St George, Sutherland Shire and surrounding areas.
We treat a broad range of patients across private physiotherapy, sports and post-operative rehabilitation, NDIS, WorkCover/CTP, aged care and community services.
We are also a teaching clinic, regularly supporting physiotherapy students and providing opportunities for our clinicians to develop their mentoring and leadership skills.
Most importantly, we want our clinicians to enjoy being Physiotherapists.
If you became a Physio because you wanted to rehabilitate people, help them get stronger and make a genuine difference in their lives, we’d love to hear from you.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
