Job summary

Aussie Locums is seeking a Physiotherapist to join a Cairns-based team with options for clinic-only or split clinic/remote work. You will deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to local patients and remote Indigenous communities, embracing an On Country model of care.

The role supports new graduates, offers a PD budget, and relocation assistance; travel to remote communities is on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. AHPRA registration and clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy required.
• AHPRA registration required.
• National Police Check required.
• Working with children check required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy services in clinic and remote communities.
• Collaborate with a supportive team and contribute to ongoing education within the On Country model of care.
• Travel to remote communities on a monthly or bi-monthly basis as needed.
• Support and develop skills within the team and share knowledge with colleagues.
