Job summary

Montefiore’s Help at Home in Double Bay is seeking a Casual Physiotherapist to support clients across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs with in-home assessments and rehabilitation. You will work within a multidisciplinary Allied Health team, traveling between client homes to deliver personalised care.

There is potential to transition to a full-time permanent role for the right candidate. Applicants must have tertiary physiotherapy qualifications and current AHPRA registration, with a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration
• Experience in community, aged care, NDIS or residential aged care settings is highly regarded but not essential
• Strong clinical assessment and rehabilitation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a mobile caseload

Responsibilities

• Conduct physiotherapy assessments and develop personalised treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to support mobility, strength, balance and independence
• Provide falls prevention, pain management and rehabilitation services
• Work collaboratively with our team to achieve positive client outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
• Build strong relationships with clients, families and internal stakeholders

As a result, we are seeking an experienced and passionateCasual Physiotherapist to join our dedicated Allied Health team. You will work alongside Allied Health Clinicians, Registered Nurses, Care Coordinators and experienced Aged Care and NDIS professionals in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment committed to delivering exceptional care and outcomes for our clients across Sydney.

Although this opportunity will be on a casual basis, as the needs of the business continue to grow, there will be opportunity to transition to a full timepermanent position for the right candidate.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally be based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs or be willing to travel throughout the area. As this is a community-based position, you will be required to travel between client appointments, making access to a reliable vehicle and a current driver's licence essential.

We are looking for a clinician who has experience working within the Aged Care, Community Care, Home Care or NDIS sectors and who is confident providing physiotherapy services independently in clients' homes. Experience in a similar community-based role will be highly regarded.
