Job summary

Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) invites applications for the Casual Pool Physiotherapist positions (AHP1/AHP2). You will work across CALHN acute, rehabilitation and ambulatory services, assessing and treating diverse adult caseloads, delivering safe, evidence-based care and working within multidisciplinary teams to support recovery and timely discharge.

Positions offer flexibility and opportunities to develop clinical judgement, with AHP2 providing greater autonomy and contribution

Qualifications

Hold a recognised physiotherapy qualification and current registration.
Bring experience or capability relevant to adult acute or rehabilitation care.
Deliver safe, patient-centred and evidence-based physiotherapy.
Communicate effectively and contribute positively within multidisciplinary teams.
Bring the judgement and capability appropriate to the AHP1 or AHP2 level.

Responsibilities

Assess and treat diverse adult caseloads across CALHN services.
Partner with patients, carers and teams to achieve meaningful goals.
Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy that supports recovery and independence.

About You

You're a caring and adaptable Physiotherapist who enjoys variety, clinical problem-solving and working with others to help people achieve better outcomes. You may be developing your practice at AHP1 level or ready to bring greater independence and complexity to an AHP2 role. To be successful in this role you will:

Hold a recognised physiotherapy qualification and current registration
Bring experience or capability relevant to adult acute or rehabilitation care
Deliver safe, patient-centred and evidence-based physiotherapy
Communicate effectively and contribute positively within multidisciplinary teams
Bring the judgement and capability appropriate to the AHP1 or AHP2 level

You'll also need to meet the operational requirements outlined in the relevant role description, including participation in seven-day services where required.
