Job summary

Optimum Allied Health in Central Coast, NSW, is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our fast-growing team in aged care. You will work within a multi-disciplinary group, delivering rehab and falls-prevention programs across multiple facilities, with opportunities for professional development and varied caseload.

The role emphasises group sessions, ANACC-aligned assessments, post-fall care, and collaboration with other health professionals.

Qualifications

• Physiotherapy degree required.
• Experience in residential aged care preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and team.
• Valid police check or NDIS worker screening check.
• Valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Running group exercise sessions and falls prevention classes.
• Assessing residents needs in line with aged care standards and ANACC.
• Post fall intervention and documentation.
• Delivery of ANACC Pain management programs which include a combination 1 on 1 treatment, 1 on 1 exercise intervention and group exercise interventions.
• Implementing and upgrading rehabilitation exercise programs.
• Communicating with a greater team of allied health professionals and medical practitioners to coordinate effective courses of treatments.
• Delivery of manual handling training competencies.

We're looking for a Physiotherapist to join our fast growing team.

Full time, based in Kincumber, NSW.

You'll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, have the opportunity for professional development and an opportunity to have a varied case load with different clients in the residential aged care sector.

About Optimum;

We are a team of 85+ allied health professionals servicing NSW and QLD in residential aged care, home visits, workplace health and 6 of our own clinics and gyms.

Things you will be doing;

• Running group exercise sessions and falls prevention classes
• Assessing residents needs in line with aged care standards and ANACC.
• Post fall intervention and documentation
