Job summary

United Physiotherapy Group is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our Residential Care Services in Grafton, NSW on a casual/locum basis. The role focuses on delivering high-quality physiotherapy to aged care residents, with opportunities to work across multiple care settings within the group.

You will complete comprehensive assessments, design treatment plans, lead exercise groups, and collaborate with nursing and allied health teams to support residents’ goals while maintaining flexible

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent internationally recognised qualification.
• General Registration with AHPRA is essential.
• Australian residency and valid working visa required.
• NDIS Check and Working with Children Check required.
• National Police Certificate required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Completing comprehensive assessments and delivering treatment to residents.
• Correspondence with residents, families, nursing staff and practitioners.
• Exercise prescription and review, including leading of exercise groups.
• Liaising with clinical team and facility management to tailor care plans.
• Managing daily schedule including clinical and non-clinical tasks.
• Participating in ongoing professional development and mentoring.
• Delivering Falls prevention workshops and staff education.
• Opportunities to work within Community Services in the region.
