Shellharbour Physiotherapy in Shellharbour NSW 2529 is seeking a motivated physiotherapist to join our team on a full-time basis. You will deliver high-quality assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to a diverse patient base in a modern clinic.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
• Strong clinical knowledge in musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues.
• Patient-centred approach with empathy and high-quality care.
• Proficiency in clinical documentation systems and EHRs.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification; Working with Children Check / Police Check or willingness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised plans.
• Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy and evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and communicate outcomes to patients and referrers.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with standards.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and home exercise programmes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised clinical environment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with practice advances.

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Shellharbour Physiotherapy on a full-time basis. As a Physiotherapist, you will deliver high-quality assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to a diverse range of patients, utilising evidence-based practices and contemporary therapeutic techniques. This role offers the chance to develop your clinical skills, build lasting patient relationships, and contribute to a thriving multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and developing individualised treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and other conditions
• Delivering direct patient care through manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy, and other evidence-based interventions
• Monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and communicating outcomes to patients and referring practitioners
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records and documentation in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
• Educating patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and home exercise programmes to facilitate long-term recovery
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
• Contributing to the maintenance of a safe, clean, and well-organised clinical environment
• Participating in ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in physiotherapy practice

What we're looking for

• Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia and unrestricted practising rights
• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
• Strong clinical knowledge and competency in assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues
• A patient-centred approach with genuine empathy and commitment to delivering high-quality care
• Proficiency in using clinical documentation systems and electronic health records
• The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Professional judgment and problem-solving skills to manage complex patient presentations
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain if not already held)
• Preferred experience in community-based physiotherapy, outpatient settings, or private practice
