Job summary

Arcare South Brisbane is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team across multiple Brisbane sites. You will help residents maintain functional independence through evidence-based, active interventions and lead a small team to maximise outcomes.

Working as part of the Allied Health team, Physiotherapists play a crucial role in helping maintain the functional independence of our clients through the delivery of evidence-based, active interventions.Your primary role is to build open and respectful relationships with our clients and families and to treat every interaction with a client as an opportunity to bring respect, life, and joy to the relationship.

Position Summary

The Physiotherapist is responsible for helping to improve clients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functions and to optimise their functional capacity for activities of daily living. Physiotherapists play a crucial role in maximising residents’ function and quality of life. The Physiotherapist will be part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure a person-centred, evidence-based, continuous quality improvement work environment that is consistent with the values of Arcare.

Your key responsibilities will be:
