Universal Store is seeking a Photography Assistant to join our Creative team at the Eagle Farm Support Office. You will work across high-volume ecommerce photography, weekly shoots, campaigns and social content, helping light, tether, coordinate shoots and deliver on-brand imagery.

You’ll blend technical skills with creative eye to ensure every image is polished, on-brand, and ready for posting across our Universal Store and Perfect Stranger brands. A hands-on, fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on photography experience in a studio environment.
• Experience with high-volume ecommerce photography workflows.
• Ability to set up lighting and manage tethered shooting.

Responsabilités

• Photograph apparel, footwear and accessories for ecommerce.

• Collaborate with photographers, stylists and Creative team.
• Select, edit, color correct and retouch large volumes of images.
• Maintain focus, exposure, color, and composition on set.
• Support campaigns, weekly shoots and social content.
• Offer junior graphic design support for photo edits.
• Keep studio and equipment organized and ready.
• Identify improvements to photography workflows.

The Opportunity

Are you passionate about fashion photography and love being behind the scenes bringing great product and creative ideas to life? Then we've got the role for you!

We're looking for a Photography Assistant to join our Creative team at our Support Office in Eagle Farm. Reporting to our Creative Production Manager, and working closely with our wider Creative and eCommerce teams, you'll play an important role in creating the imagery our customers see across our Universal Store and Perfect Stranger brands.

This is a hands-on role where no two days look quite the same. You'll work across high-volume eCommerce photography, weekly shoots, campaigns and social content, getting involved in everything from lighting, tethering and shoot coordination through to image selection, retouching and final delivery. You'll combine your technical photography skills with a strong creative eye to make sure every image is polished, on-brand and ready to go.

Key responsibilities include:

• Bringing our product to life through high-quality eCommerce photography across apparel, footwear and accessories
• Setting up and coordinating studio shoots, including lighting, camera equipment, tethering and image management
• Working alongside photographers, stylists and our Creative team to deliver engaging, on-brand imagery
• Selecting, editing, colour correcting and retouching high volumes of imagery while maintaining a consistently high standard
• Keeping a close eye on focus, exposure, colour and composition throughout shoots and proactively addressing anything that isn't quite right
• Supporting major campaigns, weekly shoots, eCommerce and social content across our brands
• Providing junior graphic design support across photo editing, etching and other creative requirements
• Keeping our studio, equipment and workflow organised and shoot-ready
• Looking for smarter and more efficient ways to improve our photography and creative processes

About You

You're a hands-on creative who knows your way around a photography studio and loves the energy of working in fashion. You have a great eye for detail, understand what makes an image work and enjoy being part of the entire process, from getting the lighting right on set to perfecting the final edit.

You're organised, proactive and comfortable working at pace. Most importantly, you're keen to keep developing your craft while contributing your own ideas and creativity to a collaborative team.
