Job summary

Arthur Reed Photos Pty Ltd in Melbourne seeks enthusiastic photographers for the 2027 school season. You will join a crew at schools across Melbourne, Geelong and regional Victoria, delivering high-quality school portraits with a focus on customer service and teamwork.

Commencement is January 2027. All equipment is supplied and extensive training is provided. Consistent work throughout Term 1 with potential for ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in school photography is a plus.
• Ability to work with children of all ages.
• Deliver excellent customer service and communicate confidently.
• Be well presented, positive, reliable and professional.
• Maintain calm and be effective in a busy environment.
• Be a team player with energy and enthusiasm.
• Have a good eye for detail and take pride in your work.
• Studying photography is an advantage, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a crew at schools, primarily across Melbourne, with some opportunities in Geelong and regional Victoria.
• Develop photographic and people skills in a hands-on environment.

We're looking for people who:

• Have photographic experience (school photography experience is a bonus)

• Enjoy working with children of all ages

• Are team players who bring energy, enthusiasm and a willingness to help others

• Have a good eye for detail and take pride in their work

• Have completed or are studying photography (an advantage, but not essential)

Your role will involve working as part of a crew at schools, primarily across Melbourne, with some opportunities throughout Geelong and regional Victoria.

School photography is rewarding but demanding, with early starts, busy schedules and long days. You'll be part of an experienced team, develop your photographic and people skills, work in a variety of school environments and play an important role in creating lasting memories for students and their families. The work is varied, hands-on and offers opportunities to learn, grow and build valuable skills.

Requirements

• Current Working with Children Check (Employee)

• Driver's licence and your own transport

• Based in Melbourne or Geelong

• Availability for consistent work during Term 1
