Job summary

Northpharm Tiwi, based within Royal Darwin Hospital, seeks a Full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our service delivery across northern Australia. You will assist pharmacists, help dispense medications, manage stock, and support patient care in a fast-paced community pharmacy setting.

We value reliable, well-organised team players with strong communication skills and IT literacy. Training is provided, and prior healthcare experience is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy or healthcare is preferred but not required; full training provided.
• Strong communication, both written and verbal.
• Proactive, reliable, and highly organised team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily dispensary services, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of medications and pharmacy operations.
• Coordinate with remote clinics to manage stock levels and fulfil medication orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Liaise confidently with clinic managers, staff, and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
• Build and maintain strong, positive working relationships across clinics and health departments.
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy team members and other healthcare staff.
• Ensure all tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required deadlines to maintain high standards of patient care.
• Support operational requirements, including inventory management and system updates.

As a Pharmacy Technician in Northpharm, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our pharmacy. This position is essential for ensuring that customers receive the highest level of service and care. You will assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service, contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of the community.

• Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience is highly preferred but not essential — full training will be provided for the right candidate.
