Job summary

Eastern Health in Melbourne is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medicine distribution, compounding aseptics, and potentially participate in clinical trials within a modern facility.

You will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care for patients and expanding your expertise across aseptic manufacturing and chemotherapy preparation.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Interest in aseptic manufacturing including cytotoxic manufacturing.

About The Role

The Pharmacy Technician provides:

• The opportunity to participate in medicine distribution from purchasing to imprest, dispending and extemporaneous manufacturing.
• Compounding aseptic and chemotherapy in a modern, purpose-built facility
• The potential to work in specialist areas such as clinical trials
• Joining a friendly and supportive team to provide pharmaceutical care for patients

What You’ll Bring

• Can work within a multi-disciplinary team
• Have strong interest in aseptic manufacturing including cytotoxic manufacturing
• Have experience as a Pharmacy Technician (not essential but highly desirable)
